For Alice, urban intervention entails a profuse study of the environment, the people who will live with her art and the life that each piece will have in its urban context. This research is one of the characteristics that has led her to the top of the urban art scene, shining on an international scale.
“Once gone, my tracks continue to evolve with the city. In many cases, resistant to weather and aging together with the wall. They become an integral part of that place and that story.”
Alice also stands out for her studio work. The pieces keep the notable characteristics of what she paints in the street: a pictorial line, personal and recognizable, as well as characters immersed in their daily lives, diverse and lyrical.
A unique reinterpretation is presented by “NEST SERIES”, artificial nests painted. Nesting site became the place of hope and shelter for human flocks, migrants that have no asylum.
In her art, Alice depicts timeless, universal emotions. Her art focuses on feminine imagery from an everyday perspective, with nuanced language and an intimate tone. Real women who feel and enjoy life, they always show themselves strong and determined to live. Brave women.
B – R O A D is a street project, in the places where traffic slows, and people live their lives on the roads far from the main streets. B-roads are secondary roads, parallel universes, suburbs where so many different lives and cultures find each other. A world apart from the intersections of main streets, glossy and homogenized.
If road is a metaphor for life, b-road personifies the meaning of finding your own way, where rerouting, u-turns, and exit ramps are necessary to follow your own path. Not all paths take the busy highway.
